How to Survive Finals Week

Finals week can be the most stressful week of your year, if you are unprepared. Here are some steps on how to not only survive finals week, but ACE finals week!
First, make a schedule. There will be a lot of deadlines that you will want to keep straight, make a schedule for each class and write what deadline you have per class. You can also schedule study times before the actual finals week so you are prepared and not cramming everything in at once. This can also reduce your stress levels.
While you will be studying and working a lot during this week, you also want to make sure you are taking time for yourself. In previous blogs you will see some self care tips that will be very helpful when you are taking time for yourself during this stressful week. Setting aside time for a little self care moment can also be a reward and something you are looking for.
Make sure you are eating healthy! Eating high calorie and sugary foods can drain your energy fast and make you sluggish and unmotivated. To stay motivated and awake, make sure you are drinking plenty of water and eating healthy!
Find a comfortable study space before finals week. Depending on your study style, some environment will not meet whaat you are looking for. By finding a great study space before finals week, you won't have the added stress of background noise, or an uncomfortable work environment.
Using these tips and tricks like I mentioned above will help you not only survive finals week, but ACE finals week! Just remember it can be very easy to get overwhelmed but confidence is key!
